The general overseer of Shiloh word chapel, Abuja, Prophet Samuel (popularly known as Prophet I.O Samuel), a protégée of the Senior Prophet of The Synagogue Church, Prophet TB Joshua has spoken on the recent suspension of his mentor’s YouTube account, over what was reported as hate speech.
The popular Abuja based clergy, wrote this on his Instagram account:
“ Daddy, God is supporting your position as he has done in time past, our social media trials will end in praises and testimonies by God’s grace. We are on our knees victory at last to God’s glory, let love lead the world because love conquers hate. They that dwell in love dwell in God, for God is love.

It is worthy to note that Prophet Joshua disclosed on his Twitter account last Wednesday that the channel was suspended over a video said to contain hate speech. In his tweet, he said:
“Emmanuel TV YouTube suspension: Our mission is to share the love of God with everyone – irrespective of race or religion – and we strongly oppose all forms of hate speech! We have had a long and fruitful relationship with YouTube and believe this decision was made in haste,” he had tweeted.
Joshua’s Facebook Page, which has over 5.6 million followers, remains active, although the company stated specific videos had been removed after Open Democracy’s queries.
