Emobella Engineering Nigeria Limited, a leading indigenous mechanical and electrical engineering service firm, has received authorization from Shell Nigeria Gas to conduct a training and empowerment program for local youths in Ogun State focused on enterprise development.
According to Mr. Precious Adeho, the Chief Executive of Emobella Engineering Nigeria Limited, the Shell Energy Enterprise Development Programme aims to provide training in enterprise development and equip beneficiaries with the necessary tools for successful business ventures. Shell Nigeria Gas will also provide seed capital to empower the participants. Adeho stated, “The training is scheduled to take place from Monday, December 4th, to Friday, December 8th, 2023, at Eden Hotel & Resort in Ota, Ogun State. Following the graduation ceremony this Friday, participants will receive proficient certificates.”
During the program, beneficiaries will undergo training on various aspects of entrepreneurship, including developing a business mindset, generating winning business ideas, understanding local and international markets, business model canvas, customer acquisition and retention, marketing toolkits, business risk management, financial management, social media promotion, legal issues, safety management, work-life balance, cultivating a winning attitude for running a successful business, raising capital, and thinking globally while acting locally.
