For the longest time, I worked in the consulting space. I started out by consulting for individuals and companies looking to scale their business, whilst also actively equipping Human Capital through diverse training programs.
Fast forward to business launch year, having garnered knowledge through learning and putting knowledge to use, McYouniverse Investment Limited, now McYouniverse Group was birthed. McYouniverse Investment Limited was then known as a swift paced Business Management Solutions Firm with an array of value offerings in Investment and Consortium.
A structure was put in place to continue to deliver value with a team of individuals who possess hands-on experience from diverse sectors of the economy. As we speak, we are a Solutions-Providing Business Conglomerate of Real Estate, Agricultural, Information Technology, Haulage and Logistics.
WHY DID YOU VENTURE INTO PRIVATE BUSINESS?
Capitalism runs the economy. We can’t control the government, but as business owners, we can shape the economy. I ventured into private business in order to contribute my quota to the economy at large by solving some of the basic economic problems such as ; Shelter and Food provisions
CAN YOU TAKE US DOWN THE LAND MARK ACHIEVEMENTS AND CHALLENGES YOU HAVE HAD AS AN ORGANIZATION OVER YEARS? AND HOW YOU OVERCAME THEM?
The major achievement I’d touch on is moving from McYouniverse Investment Limited to McYouniverse Group. Doing business, especially in Nigeria, is not a walk in the park, and being able to successfully scale and navigate the challenges in each of the sectors where we propose value is indeed worthy of note.
A challenge, however, was at the early phase of venturing into the Real Estate Sector. It’s no news that Real Estate is somewhat a saturated market in Nigeria. It was quite a challenge for us to preach the gospel of Real Estate to people without hearing instances where they had at some point been scammed of their hard-earned money by some Real Estate Companies.
Our integrity is never at stake, and we ensure to always deliver on our words. This made it easy for us to penetrate the market, thereby building and retaining relationship with our customers.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE ORGANIZATION’S CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE NIGERIAN/GLOBAL ECONOMY.
As a company, we have through the years helped in the provision of job opportunities. At McYounifarms, the Agricultural Arm of McYouniverse Group, we employ individuals who not only secure a means of livelihood for themselves, but also work at the forefront of crop and animal production, thereby creating a limitless food-supply chain that will nourish the world.
More so, in the Real Estate Sector, our investment options through the sales of lands and properties provides any and everyone an opportunity to begin their real estate investment journey, build generational wealth, and in turn help to reduce the Nigerian Housing Deficit.
