Fidelity Bank Plc has once again demonstrated its commitment to deepening a savings culture and promoting financial literacy by unveiling 20 new millionaires through its ongoing Get Alert in Millions (GAIM) Season 6 promo.
The bank hosted the 7th and 8th draws at its Lagos head office, rewarding loyal customers nationwide. The event also featured prize presentations to winners from previous draws, with the entire process conducted transparently under the watch of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and other regulators.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ken Opara, Executive Director for Lagos & South West, represented by Chioma Nwankwo, Regional Bank Head, Lagos Central, highlighted the purpose behind the promo. According to him, GAIM is more than just about giving out cash prizes—it is designed to inspire consistent saving habits and equip customers with the discipline to build long-term financial security.
“Our goal is to encourage Nigerians to embrace savings as a lifestyle. Beyond cash rewards, Fidelity Bank also offers financial guidance to winners, helping them make sound decisions about their new wealth,” he noted.
From the draws, 10 customers each emerged millionaires in both cycles, representing different regions of the country. Among those who received ₦1 million each were Stephanie Onome Gere, Itua Michael Ehinomen, Maduabuchi Kalu Anya, and Chioma Grace Nnodim. For Chioma, it was a dream come true: “This is life-changing. I never thought saving consistently could turn me into a millionaire. I encourage others to start saving—you never know when your alert will land.”
Since the start of Season 6, the GAIM promo has rewarded more than 2,500 customers with cash and consolation prizes worth about ₦85.4 million, including ₦60 million shared among 60 millionaires. Special categories such as students, NYSC members, women, workers, and children have also benefitted from targeted draws, while weekly and day-specific giveaways have kept the momentum alive.
As the campaign nears its grand finale, Fidelity Bank continues to position itself as a driver of financial inclusion and empowerment, leveraging innovative savings products to help customers grow wealth, support businesses, and contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth.
The bank, which currently serves over 9.1 million customers across its physical and digital channels, has earned multiple awards, including the 2024 Excellence in Digital Transformation & MSME Banking Award, as well as recognition as Nigeria’s Best Bank for SMEs.
