Leadway Group, one of Nigeria’s leading non-banking financial services institutions, has marked the successful graduation of 33 aspiring developers from its intensive 13-month technology training program. The initiative was designed to groom the next wave of professionals in Frontend Development, Backend Engineering, and Data Analytics.
Fully funded by Leadway, the program reflects the company’s long-term commitment to youth development and its strategic investment in the nation’s digital future.
The graduation ceremony, held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in Kaduna, celebrated the participants who benefitted from structured training, one-on-one mentorship, and real-world project exposure. With these experiences, the graduates are well-positioned to thrive in Nigeria’s fast-growing tech ecosystem.
Speaking at the event, Kunbi Adeoti, Chief People Experience Officer at Leadway Group, shared: “At Leadway, we believe that empowering young talent with the right skills is one of the most valuable contributions we can make to Nigeria’s progress. Also addressing the gathering, Celestina Okere, Head of Learning and Development at Leadway Group, emphasized the importance of closing the digital skills gap: “Technology is reshaping every sector, and Nigeria’s competitiveness depends on how well we adapt.
