The Impact Investors Foundation (IIF), Nigeria’s leading advocate for impact investing, has announced that nominations are now open for its 2025 Annual Impact Investing Awards. Now in its seventh year, the awards recognize individuals and organizations whose work, investments, or initiatives deliver measurable social and environmental value while driving sustainable business growth.
Winners will be unveiled at the IIF Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony on November 6, 2025, which coincides with the 8th Annual Convening on Impact Investing in Lagos.
Highlighting the purpose of the awards, IIF’s CEO, Ms. Etemore Glover, noted that the initiative continues to showcase innovators who demonstrate that finance can generate both profit and social good. According to her, celebrating these trailblazers encourages more stakeholders to integrate impact into their strategies, strengthening Nigeria’s journey toward an inclusive and resilient economy.
Since their inception, the IIF Awards have celebrated diverse changemakers in healthcare, education, agriculture, gender equality, and financial inclusion. Past winners—including Alitheia Capital Management, FAMASI Africa, and the Centre for Legal Support and Inmates Rehabilitation (CELSIR)—illustrate the transformative role impact investing plays in addressing social challenges.
The 2025 edition builds on this tradition by recognizing those proving that investment, entrepreneurship, and social impact can work hand-in-hand.
Nominations are open to both individuals and organizations across Nigeria and West Africa that demonstrate measurable outcomes and a strong commitment to inclusive, sustainable growth. Entries must be submitted via the IIF Awards website by September 30, 2025.
