Polaris Bank has once again underscored its leadership in Nigeria’s banking sector by winning both the “Digital Bank of the Year” and “Best Bank for MSMEs” awards at the 2025 BusinessDay BAFI Awards—a milestone that now marks its fifth win in the digital category and fourth in MSME banking.
Central to this achievement is the Bank’s flagship platform, VULTe 3.0, which utilizes AI and advanced analytics to deliver hyper-personalized experiences and streamline operations. Its growth in 2025 has been remarkable, handling a large volume of transactions and cementing Polaris’s reputation as a digital innovator.
Polaris has also sustained strong support for micro, small and medium enterprises through targeted interventions, simplified digital lending, and strategic partnerships. In 2025 alone the Bank launched initiatives in collaboration with Woodhall Capital (UK), the Lagos State Government, and UK agencies to bolster creative industries, women-led businesses, and other high-growth sectors.
Upon receiving the awards, Chief Digital Officer Dele Adeyinka emphasized that the recognitions reflect customer trust and the transformational ambition behind VULTe: “This platform is more than a banking tool; it is a community where users bank, borrow, save, and grow effortlessly.” Managing Director/CEO Kayode Lawal committed that the Bank would continue to channel investments into robust digital infrastructure, deepen financial inclusion, and expand consistent, seamless customer experiences across all channels.
