Ajibade Laolu-Adewale has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Committee of e-Business Industry Heads (CeBIH), following a unanimous vote by members during the committee’s recent general meeting held in Lagos.

In his post-election remarks, Laolu-Adewale reaffirmed the executive committee’s commitment to enhancing the impact of CeBIH by championing the adoption of electronic business solutions. He emphasized a focus on leveraging the right technology, fostering strong policies, upholding high standards, and pushing for innovation and public engagement. He also pledged the committee’s continued support for the federal government’s economic goals, especially in expanding financial inclusion.

Welcoming members at the meeting, the Managing Director and CEO of Globus Bank, Elias Igbina kenzua, praised CeBIH for promoting inter-bank collaboration and driving forward key innovations that have accelerated digital banking adoption across the country.

CeBIH comprises senior electronic business professionals across Nigerian banks. Since its establishment in 2009, the committee has played a leading role in promoting the adoption of electronic and digital payment systems in collaboration with stakeholders across the financial industry.
