Rainoil Limited has officially received the MT Princess Oge, a 45,000MT oil tanker, marking its maiden entry into Nigerian waters.
Built in Japan, the vessel boasts a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 45,996MTS and a draft of 12.072M. On arrival, it discharged 20,000MT of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) at Rainoil’s Ijegun depot in Lagos.
The reception event brought together Rainoil’s senior management, including Mrs. Ese Erokoro (Group Head, Retail Sales), Mrs. Uche Umeh (Group CFO), Ms. Oge Ogbechie (Retail Executive), Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Omezi (Brand & Corporate Communications Manager), and Mr. Larry Onwochei (Trading Manager), alongside other executives and staff.
Speaking on the milestone, Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie, Group Managing Director of Rainoil, emphasized that the MT Princess Oge strengthens the company’s supply chain capacity and reflects its unwavering dedication to operational excellence:
